My Hot Pick for this week: Furious Avatars’ Varactyl Rideable Mount
Without a doubt, my choice for WOW factor is Furia Freeloader’s rideable Varactyl mount. Forget all those people who ride around SL on horseback, enjoying the feeling of a flowing mane and stamping hooves - this is way more cool and far more original. Not only does it look awesome (with several colour options in the pack for now extra cash), the animation that has gone into it makes it the best rideable beast I have EVER seen in SL!! Really - it is that good.
It breathes fire, stomach even goes up and down with realistic breathing movement, the walking movement and even running is awesome - for such a big animal with complex prims, getting any decent walk at all is an artform and this goes way beyond just ambling along. Check it out - you will not be dissapointed. This beast has set a new benchmark for fantasy animal builders out there.

Ok - for my Favourites:
This is not an objective list of TE’s best products in any particular order. Instead it is an honest few picks of products I have personally come to love and enjoy.

F-Zixx Big Ass Tank BT-A (the “BAT” as I affectionately call mine)

I love this vehicle and the wow factor that I get everytime I turn up in it. From it’s gorgeous sleek and shiny lines, to it’s no messing weapons it is great. I also love it because it is relatively easy to handle right from day one. Ok, so sometimes I am in the mood for conquering a challenge with new vehicles - with this baby, I just sit back and enjoy the view. A classic that I hope will be around for a long while. Appropriately expensive enough to be a real treat lol

Taz Industries Z Skybox

Simple, clean lines, strong individual shape, just love it. It is definitely my number 1 sky box of choice. I am sick of novelty themed boxes and sometimes just want to be in an environment with great lighting, perfect sense of proportion and style.

  • Thomas Connover’s Advanced Object Scanner HUD

Oh boy, has this come in handy on more than one occasion! No need to explain what it does - it’s name says it all. If only someone could provide me with one for RL…

    • TyroTech’s WASP

I love my WASP - that big red hovvering remote attack droid you will often see floating about my head! Great way to see who is around near you, patrol an area as well as stinging the baddies :D

    • The Simboard

So much fun! If you have not yet had a go at simboarding - why not?!! Grab yourself a board and head down to the half pipe on the sands at Tech Expo and find out what you have been missing..

      Chronoforge 4D: Drakefire

This is a new discovery for me. I am not normally that great when it comes to swash buckling sword action. Sure, they look great - particularly Opticron’s beauties - but never felt they were “my” kinda thing. All changed when I wore these and summoned this pair of flaming beasts and started to lunge and leap around with great built in animations. If you have never ever been tempted by a sword before, give this one a try and discover a whole new world of combat :)
